The Winner of the Triumph Fashion Award 2006 will be announced this year directly by Triumph International. The name of winner of the Triumph International Fashion Award 2006 will still kept secret until then. What we can give is a hint: her sketches have the greatest "romanticism factor". The Triumph International Fashion Award with prices and international presentations in the value of more than 100,000 euros as well as editorial reports in the New York Times, Vogue, Cosmopolitan, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, ORF, ARTE and Sat 1 is one of the highest remunerated international fashion design prices. 438 fashion designers from Japan, China, the USA, France, Finland, South Africa, Israel, Iran, Siberia and the Philippines took part in this year's Triumph Fashion Award. With more than 1,500 drawings they have interpreted Mozart and his time Rococo in a modern way. The participants were trained at such renowned schools as: Central Saint Martins School of Design, London FIT, Fashion Institute of Technology, New York Polimoda, Florenz Domus Academy, Mailand Shenkar Schule, Tel Aviv Moskauer Textilakademie Modedesign, Hochschule fr Gestaltung und Kunst Zrich Fashion and Textile Department in Hong Kong Polytechnic University University fr angewandte Kunst, Wien Modefachschule Sigmaringen Felicidad Duce School, Barcelona Fashion Design, Beijing Institute of Clothing Technology Fashion Design in lahti polytechnic, muotoiluinstituutti, Finnland Product Design at Academy of Fine Arts, Sarajevo Fashion design at the European Institute of Design, Rom Grafton Academy of Dress Design, Dublin etc. "It is fascinating how many designers from quite different cultures have such a passionate relation to the world of Mozart. And it is interesting that this topic fascinates and inspires over all nations, cultures and religions. For us the high quality of the submitted works and primarily the individual and culturally very different entries to Mozart's world were an indicator for today's importance to carry out competitions internationally," Dr. Karin Sawetz, publisher fashionoffice.org. The previous winners of the Triumph International Fashion Award 2005 were Rafael Gomes from Brazil and 2004 Mary Jo Diehl from New York. The winner of the Triumph International Fashion Award is carried out in three steps of selection: at first, the 7 Selected are evaluated among all works by an expert jury. Then the readers of the fashion magazine fahionoffice.org choose in a public online voting the 3 Finalists. This year 9,563 registered voices have voted for their favourite designer. (A special technical system has restricted the votes to one voice per computer.) In the 3rd round of the election an international jury of experts evaluates the 3 different designs of each of the 3 Finalists to determine the winner of the Triumph International Fashion Award.
Following 3 designers are the Finalists of the Triumph
International Fashion Award 2006:
