FBI Fashion
College (Australia) : FBI: Fashion College has been established
since August 1994 and has helped many students gain a position in the
Fashion Industry, without prior fashion experience. FBI: Fashion College
is a Nationally Approved Training Provider, having been Accredited by
the Vocational Education Training Accreditation Board (VETAB) and the
Australian National Training Authority (ANTA).
RMIT
School of Fashion and Textiles (Australia) is a major provider of
education and training for the Textiles Clothing and Footwear industry,
both in Australia and internationally. The School's programs incorporate
all stages of the supply chain, including fibre production, textile
technology, textile and fashion design, garment production,
merchandising, dry cleaning, marketing and retailing. The School is one
of Australia's leading fashion and textile education providers. It
offers vocational programs for apprentices and trainees, along with a
wide range of TAFE Certificate and Diploma programs. Undergraduate and
postgraduate degree programs are available, including at PhD level.
Short courses and industry training are also provided. The School of
Fashion and Textiles maintains strong national and international
industry links. These networks provide our students with opportunities
to enhance their educational experience and to expand their employment
prospects.
The Whitehouse
Institute of Design (Australia) : the Whitehouse Institute of Design
creates and sustains a unique learning environment. This is
intentionally designed to induct students into studio practice, working
individually, in groups and teams to prepare motivated and reflective
practitioners for careers in design and related fields. Courses focus on
creative development through drawing, design and fabrication, together
with an appreciation of the importance of design history and aesthetics.
Whitehouse fashion students develop technical expertise in addition to
historical and theoretical knowledge about fashion and other design
industries. As designers, Whitehouse graduates gain expertise through
developing skills in research, concept development, fashion
illustration, materials knowledge, patternmaking, and garment
construction in order to delivery innovative design solutions which have
a positive impact on the wider national and international fashion design
communities.
