Australia Fashion Week / The Asia Pacific Fashion Week:  Mercedes Australian Fashion Week (MAFW) Bi-annually in Australia The centre of fashion and business in the Asia Pacific region. MAFW's Spring Summer Collections held annually in April/may (Sydney) and Autumn Winter Collections held annually in October (Melbourne).   IMG, the world's premier sports and lifestyle management and marketing firm, acquired Australian Fashion Innovators (AFI) in October 2005 and with it the region's premier fashion event, Mercedes Australian Fashion Week. This acquisition also included the management and production of several events throughout Asia. IMG FASHION Asia Pacific is the name of the newly formed company.
