||||
Below is a brief summary of some of the fabulous fashion from the Spring-summer 2012 men's fashion collection from Moschino. 50's Rock' n' Roll Jersey jackets have contrasting collars and pockets. Jackets are inspired by old two-tone baseball uniforms, and the classic double-breasted blazer is featured.
Bowling shirts have an embroidered "M" for Moschino or come in checkerboard prints in the predominant shades of red, white and black. Two-tone calf leather and monotone deerskin mocassins both have the typical fifties-style white sole. Hawaii Elvis, in full "Blue Hawaii" style, is the inspiration. Print palm tree motifs are featured and also appear on fil coupé shirts. Cotton/linen jackets and shorts have contrasting floral prints and Vichy checks in shades of aviator blue, brown, and sand. Hibiscus prints in different colors accompany the famous blue suede shoes. Las Vegas The daytime look features playing card prints on T-shirts and shirts. Evening is bolder, with more dazzling colors and prints. Tuxedos have a dazzling "spotlight" effect and are embellished with two-tone sequins in tromp l'oeil. Jackets and trousers are covered in gold, while "double-face" footwear, like playing cards, is divided in half.
