Urban Outfitters
is amping up the sound in its
Mockingbird Station store, starting with DJ Nathan Ashby
spinning from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, March 27. Dallas
alt-rock band, The Ligons, will kick off a live music set at
2 p.m. on Saturday, March 29.
We're trying
to shine a light on local bands that could use the venue and
benefit from the Urban Outfitters name, said Lindsay
Gautreau, manager of the Urban Outfitters store at
Mockingbird Station.
Coming up next:
Red Monroe, the punk/western swing/disco hall confection
no, that's not a typo; the band's sound really is that
eclectic will bring its cult sound to Mockingbird Station
with a performance at Urban Outfitters. Stay tuned for more
