Farfetch purchased Style.com in 2017 from Conde Nast. Farfetch, the brand and retail platform founded by José Neves in 2008 and valued in excess of $1 billion, has purchased the domain name and intellectual property of Style.com Condé Nast's foray into e-commerce has come to an end with the sale of Style.com to Farfetch and the formation of a new "content and commerce" partnership between the global retail platform and the publisher. According to a Los Angeles Times article by Samantha Conti | WWD June 13, 2017, "A tech connection has also been created, enabling Farfetch to integrate its products into Condé Nast's content, while shopping guides created by Condé Nast's publications will highlight products from Farfetch, which sources items from more than 500 luxury boutiques worldwide and offers customers nine language options and same-day delivery in 10 cities."
