Finding a good fabric supplier is certainly a challenging task.  Although we do NOT promise that the distributors you will find from the below resources are "good", you will at least have the opportunity to view numerous wholesale fabric providers. 

When reading fabric wholesaler descriptions on directories, understand that each mill will present themselves by saying something like "we are the best", or "we are the leading", or "we are number one".  Also, some directories, will change the "we" to "they" so it sounds more like a review from the directory.  Most likely the "we are the best" or "they are the best" statement does NOT mean they are actually the "best".  It is very possible that they are the best, but it is not simply because they made that statement.  You must do your own research and investigation.

Here are a few places to find fabric distributors so that you may begin your research:

Fabric Wholesalers (Apparel Search) : this is a directory of fabric wholesalers and distributors developed by the Apparel Search Company.

Nonwoven Fabric Wholesalers (Apparel Search) : if you are specifically looking for distributors of nonwoven fabrics, you can try this section of the wholesale fabric directory on Apparel search.

Fashiondex.com :  You can buy textile books and guides from Fashiondex and you can also find a few good suppliers listed in the fabrics section of their site.

Textile Industry Directory : the textile industry directory is more of a work in progress.  Currently not as good as the directories and guides listed above.  However, the site has a good foundation and will become more beneficial over time as more fabric distributors post their information to the directory.
