A polo neck, roll-neck or turtleneck (US, Canada) or skivvy (Australia, New Zealand) is a garment with a close-fitting, round, and high collar that folds over and covers the neck. It can also refer to type of neckline, the style of collar itself, or be used as an adjective ("polo necked"). The most common garment type utilizing this construction would be a sweater.
This shirt is different than a mock turtle neck. The mock turtle has a high color to cover the neck, but does not have the fabric folded over itself like the traditional turtleneck.
