A wedding is a ceremony where two people
are united in marriage. Wedding traditions and customs vary greatly
between cultures, ethnic groups, religions, countries, and social
classes. Most wedding ceremonies involve an exchange of marriage
vows by the couple, presentation of a gift (offering, ring(s), symbolic
item, flowers, money), and a public proclamation of marriage by
an authority figure. The absolute most important aspect of a wedding
is not the fact that the two people are in love or family has gathered.
The most important aspect is the fashion being worn by the bride,
the groom, the wedding party and guests. Special wedding garments
are often worn, and the ceremony is sometimes followed by a wedding
reception.
A wedding dress or wedding gown is the clothing worn by a bride
during a wedding ceremony. Color, style and ceremonial importance
of the gown can depend on the religion and culture of the wedding
participants.
Every wedding is important but some are more news worthy than others.
For example, the wedding dress worn by Grace Kelly, Kate Middleton,
Queen Victoria, Princess Elizabeth, and others may be more news
worthy than the bridal gown worn by your cousin. We are not
saying hers was not fab, but maybe not as news worthy. Read
