The California Market Center (CMC) will be presenting thousands of Holiday/resort 2012 collections to buyers, Monday-thursday, August 13 – 16, 2012, for Los Angeles Fashion Market, also open on Sunday, August 12 for Preview. Resources will be featured throughout hundreds of the CMC's showrooms and special exhibit areas, including the LA Kids Market, SELECT Contemporary Tradeshow, TRANSIT LA Shoe Show, and the recently expanded Gift & Home Showcase. To round out the Market experience, buyers and industry guests are invited to attend various special events, including an Opening Night Reception and a complimentary Color Trend Presentation, as well as a variety of additional perks featured throughout the building each day.

New Showroom Stop Staring! expressed much excitement about their new space at the CMC. "We have participated in LA Fashion Markets in the past, and have seen considerable growth," said Joyce Snyder of Stop Staring in Suite A296. "We are looking forward to continued growth, exposure to new boutiques, and a central location, giving our buyers easier access to view our collections. We are so excited to be a part of the CMC on a permanent basis!"

Running concurrently with LA Fashion Market, SELECT Contemporary Tradeshow will be taking place in the Fashion Theater, Main Lobby, Monday-wednesday, August 13-15. Additionally, buyers and industry guests are invited to an Opening Night Reception, Monday August 13, from 5:00pm – 7:00pm, in the Main Lobby. The Reception will offer a relaxed atmosphere to network with industry affiliates as guests enjoy complimentary hors d'oeuvres from Trader Vic's LA, DAMA Tequila cocktails, and live beats by DJ Mahli. Other sponsors include Dry Soda, and IZZE. Additionally, SELECT will host breakfast sponsored by Market Restaurant every morning in the Fashion Theater, while complimentary bags of Pop Chips, Luna Bars, and IZZE beverages will be available for buyers at SELECT, and TRANSIT throughout each day, while supplies last.

Holiday/resort 2012 Los Angeles Fashion Market takes place Monday-thursday, August 13–16, 2012 at the California Market Center. Show hours are 9:00am- 6:00pm daily, with Sunday open for Preview. Spring 13 LA Fashion Market will take place Monday–Thursday, October 15–18, 2012.
