The Off-price Show, the industry stock buying event, attracted a 21% increase in buyers over the days of the show at Olympia in London this week (14th-15th March), compared to last year.
There was an
upbeat mood amongst both buyers and exhibitors, pointing
to a hopeful season. Exhibitors reported meeting more
overseas buyers than ever before, and strong
order-taking was the principal activity of the show.
Robbie Bull
from Trespass said, Trespass had a very good response
at this year's Ronald Hochhauser from Q Clothing added: Our best ever Off-price Show - we were overwhelmed by this year's event. Footfall was excellent on both days and our stand was busy all the time. We brought an extensive range of men's, ladies and children's wear, and had buyers from UK, Europe and Africa queuing up to see our latest offerings. We wrote lots of orders and now have tons of work on our hands to follow up all the new enquiries. Once again the show organisers were flawless and the whole experience was as hassle free as we could have hoped for. We cannot wait for the next show. Event Director, Buzz Carter, commented, We are over the moon about the quantity and quality of visitors at this March show. The Off-price Show proves once again it really is the only horse in town when it comes to fashion stock buying. The next Off-price Show takes place in Warsaw on the 22nd -23rd June 2010 and the next London event is on 26th-27th September 2010.
