The
Off-price Show was successfully launched
in mainland Europe in the last week of
September, in Warsaw, Poland, presenting a
wide selection of fashion collections from
leading clothing, accessories and footwear
suppliers, and drawing buyers from over ten
European countries.
The unique show, established in London for 9 years and in the USA since the mid 90's, which focuses on offering end-of-season and surplus fashion ranges to the retail trade, has evolved from humble origins in a west London hotel at the start of the decade, and the Polish launch was the first of the overseas expansion events planned by the show's organiser, London-based IDEX exhibitions.
Said Off-price Show event director Buzz Carter, The Poland launch of the Off-price Show has gone very well indeed in challenging market conditions, establishing the show in central Europe, and opening up brand new and much needed retail markets for European fashion companies. We have immediately announced exciting plans for the next show in Poland in 2010, (June 22nd-23rd, Warsaw) and are delighted that over 50% of the new floor plan is already sold out before its official release.
Further international launches are planned in Spain and the middle east, and announcements will be made about these new events shortly.
The next
Off-price Show is in London, UK, in March
2010.
