The University of Delaware
invites you to join the
next fibercast on
June 5 at 2 p.m. (EDT) for a
lively discussion on Global Sourcing
in the Apparel Industry with two
industry executives with decades of
experience managing supply chains
for American apparel companies, Mr.
Gary Ross of Avon and Ms. Paula Zusi
of Ann Taylor. The host of fibercast, Dr.
Hye-shin Kim, and her guests will
examine:
- How are apparel companies
adjusting to the new,
post-credit boom economy?
- What trends in global
supply chain management are
emerging that will (re)shape the
movement of apparel, footwear
and niche goods both to the U.S.
and to other consumer-oriented
economies?
- Where are the best places
to find unique, affordable and
responsibly made products?
- How can other companies
and organizations position
themselves to prepare for and
take advantage of these trends?
During the fibercast, you
will be able to e-mail questions
to Dr. Kim and the guest
speakers.
