At January 28, 2012, the Company operated 2,212 retail footwear, headwear and sports apparel and accessory stores located primarily throughout the United States and in Puerto Rico, but also including 83 headwear stores and 14 footwear stores in Canada and 64 footwear stores and 14 footwear concessions in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland. On June 23, 2011, the Company, through its wholly owned subsidiary Genesco (UK) Limited completed the acquisition of Schuh Group Ltd. (Schuh).
