Think Venetian Carnival inspired by luxurious loot from all four Tradewinds - rich with beauty and floaty, feminine groupings. There were French Deco-inspired dresses, Spanish embellished gowns and exotic hand-dyed chiffons. This collection also showcased complex hand-beaded knits, slim Mandarin pants and teeny tops with matching sarongs. The wild and wooly Willy from Mother Plucker Feather (www.motherplucker.com) created dramatic flapper headpieces and feathered floral handbags for the show, all in custom-dyed colors, adding Hollywood sizzle to the colorful pantomime. Sue Wong always entertains with a dramatic show and this presentation was solid from beginning to end. |
