Coco Kliks inspired her loyal fans to walk the fashion tightrope this season, performing daring leaps beyond the crafty homespun looks of her debut collection and bounding into the spotlight with dazzling looks destined to tame even the most ferocious editors. Like a vintage snapshot of a long-forgotten circus, her theme paid homage to the HBO show Carnival, addressing the popular notion of menswear with tiny shrunken little jackets, wonderful pleating and refined details. Think Ring Master & Lion Tamer outfits straight from the Big Top, paired with very feminine multi-tiered skirts and corded tassels defining waists. Black-and white striped tights furthered the circus tent image and made waifs of every model. Perfect for any Boho chick with a sepia-toned, whimsical spirit! Every outfit retained her signature style of deconstruction and appliques, but this time more polished. She did a great thing by appliqueing lace thongs on a number of pants on the outside - very sexy! For the full story, check out www.cocokliks.com.
