Rhona Nampijja studied her craft for over ten years, Her dream of creating a label started when she was 16years old, with a Diploma course in Art and design at Croydon College. She graduated with a honors degree in Fashion from Ravenbourne College of Art in (95).While studying at Ravenbourne she won a number of awards including a nationwide Bursary design competition and was awarded the student medal (94).NamPijja then moved on to the Royal College of Art London where she studied for two years for a (MA Hon's) degree in fashion. While studying at Royal College of Art 98 Nampijja found a flare for computers, combining technology and traditional methods of design to produce concepts which have inspired the Pijja fashion and Interiors label. It wasn't long before NamPijja decided to fulfil a life long dream when she took up a challenge to start her own Label and launched a signature Men's and Women's wear label. In 2002 PIJJA was born.

Rhona Nampijja is a designer, producer, and distributor of high-end urban fashion, targeted at women and men between the ages of 12 and 45; The company signed several licensing deals for apparel line.The company through selected specialty apparel shops worldwide

Pijja's focus is on concept, innovation and design, for the consumers market. The main collections include contemporary urban wear with a range of shirting's, T-shirts, Jeans wear, Underwear, Accessories and Footwear

Pijja Interiors has developed a full range of contemporary furnishing fabrics, combing technology and traditional methods. Pijja supplies printed textiles/fabrics and laminates to architects and interior designers for use in both domestic and contract markets. Pijja has managed to secure lucrative fashion/interior contracts with various international companies and corporations
