Belisi Fashions is an American fashion house offering a wide range of fashion accessories like neckties, pocket squares, scarves, and handbags. Headquartered in Jupiter, Florida, Belisi was founded by an Italian Peter Belisi. After graduating in economics, Peter started his career at Merrill Lynch. Later, following a stint in Internet advertising, he worked as a bartender in Palm Beach. When his tie choices were appreciated by friends, he decided to make money from his talents by marketing a collection of quality ties. Thus, Belisi was born, the company diversifying later into other fashion accessories; Peter's close interaction with the influential and rich Palm Beach clientele and his roots in Italy resulted in Belisi products incorporating both European and Palm Beach styles.
The company claims that 10 percent of the pre-tax profits are diverted towards charitable causes, such as breast cancer patients' aid, eradication of AIDS in Africa, heart disease awareness, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
Belisi and its products have been covered by the Chicago Tribune, TheStreet.com, and the Daily Camera, among others.
Peter Belisi has been called 'The New Ralph Lauren' by Jupiter Magazine.
