Magic Eight Ball - The Magic 8-Ball is a device used for seeking advice, developed in the 1950s and manufactured by Mattel. The user asks a question to the large plastic ball, then turns it over to reveal a written answer which appears on the surface.  Designers can consult with the Magic 8 Ball to determine potential trends in regard to color, fabrics, silhouettes, etc.  Please note that although the Magic 8 Ball is rarely wrong, it is not a 100% perfect science.  Ask any question on any matter, turn over the Magic 8 Ball® and you'll get the answer to help you!
