Island Pacific (AMEX:IPI) announced at the National Retail Federation (NRF) 93rd Annual Convention and Expo that it has signed a marketing agreement with Israel-based Fontik Data, a supplier of demand chain management (DCM) solutions. The agreement provides Island Pacific customers with the ability to significantly reduce the time, cost and effort required to develop and manage planograms.
Fontik Data is the first company to use artificial intelligence to streamline the planogramming process. The software combines industry best practices with retailer-generated preferences to create dynamic, customized planograms in a fraction of the time normally required. As a result, retailers can develop store-specific and category-specific planograms quickly and easily.
