Federated Department Stores, Inc. today announced the construction of a new Bon Marche store at the Redmond Town Center in Redmond, WA. The Redmond Town Center is an outdoor shopping center with a unique mix of retailers, restaurants, services and entertainment.
The new 110,000 square-foot facility will be a two-level, full- line department store, excluding furniture. The store will offer moderate and better apparel, accessories and home merchandise. Construction is scheduled to begin in Spring 2002 with a store opening planned for Fall 2003.

Federated's Bon Marche division is headquartered in Seattle and currently operates 45 stores. Annual 2000 sales totaled $1.019 billion.
