Tweave, Inc., of Norton, MA is pleased to introduce two new additions to their stretch woven fabric line, developed especially for the intimate apparel market. Perfect for shapewear, Tweave’s stretch woven styles provide power and support with minimal bulkiness. The recovery and memory surpasses most traditional knit fabrics, yielding a garment with extraordinary durability. The construction of a woven fabric allows yarns to lie across each other at right angles, as opposed to the looped stitches of a knit fabric. This woven configuration allows the spandex to move freely, therefore taking full advantage of the stretch and recovery properties that were engineered into the yarn itself. Stretch woven fabrics will retain their original shape, and offer superior control with less bulk; therefore yielding a better fit and improved contouring qualities. The styles, called Style 528 and Style 529, are introduced as part of Tweave’s fresh focus on the intimate apparel market, sold under the Durastretch(R) brand of stretch wovens.
