AnnTaylor Stores Corporation announced the promotion of Catherine Sadler to Chief Marketing Officer of Ann Taylor, Inc. In her new position, Ms. Sadler's responsibilities will further build on her proven record of directing marketing and communications for all divisions of Ann Taylor.
Ms. Sadler oversees all brand positioning and strategic marketing. This includes all offline and online brand imagery, advertising, direct marketing, public relations, point of sale, relationship and cause related marketing. Ms. Sadler joined the company in 1997 as Executive Vice President of Marketing. She will continue to report to Ann Taylor Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, J. Patrick Spainhour.
According to Mr. Spainhour, "Catherine is a results-oriented, motivational leader. She has played a significant role in our growth and ability to establish a clear brand image for both Ann Taylor and Ann Taylor Loft, one that is relevant and aspirational to each of their specific client bases."
Mr. Spainhour continued, "Catherine has been a wonderful partner in articulating our brand positioning and developing client-centric programs that drive traffic and conversion.
