Specialty retailer, The Wet Seal, Inc. announces the promotion of Julie Petritsch to Vice President, Corporate Controller of The Wet Seal, Inc.
Ms. Petritsch is a Certified Public Accountant with over fifteen years of finance and accounting experience. She joined The Wet Seal, Inc. in May of 1999 as Corporate Controller. In that position Ms. Petritsch has been instrumental in upgrading the Company's accounting and financial systems, and in improving the internal accounting controls.
Prior to joining The Wet Seal, Inc., Ms. Petritsch held senior level finance and accounting positions with two restaurant chains, which, like the retail industry, are multi-site and multi-state organizations. Ms. Petritsch was Vice President of Finance for Acapulco Restaurants, Inc., a small regional restaurant chain. Prior to that, she was Director of Corporate Accounting and Internal Audit for Family Restaurants, Inc., a billion dollar, multi-division company that owned and operated more than 600 restaurants. She also had five years of public accounting experience serving companies in a variety of industries.
