ASAP is an acronym for Apparel Search Associated Press
Chronological is a record of events starting with the earliest and following the order in which they occurred. News is typically reported in chronological order. UNFORTUNATELY, the ASAP news section here on Apparel Search is no longer exactly in chronological order. To be honest, it started out perfectly in a sequential order based on the dates the news articles had been posted. It actually stayed perfect for nearly two decades. However, on December 24, 2017 (yes, that is Christmas eve), we made a blunder.
We originally created page addresses in this section based on numbers and letters, but the URL did not use actual words. We decided that it might be a good idea to change the page address for each post. This was NOT a good idea. The change had thrown off the order in which the news releases are displayed in our table of contents. To make matters worse, many of our news articles had not been dated. Therefore, it would be very challenging to put them back into chronological order.
To make a long story short, we are "sorry". It definitely makes doing research a bit more challenging.
Fashion News Table of Contents (Fashion news between 2000 to 2005)
We do know that the first fashion news article posted in the ASAP section of our site occurred on August 2, 2000 at 8:05:20 PM (Launch of ASAP) we also believe that the last post in this section occurred in 2005. The rest is a mystery.
The good news is that in 2004 we also started a new section for articles and we did keep an archive for those posts. You can check the fashion news archive to review by year.
If you are looking for current news we suggest you visit our fashion blog which we started in May 2013.
Thank you for using the Apparel Search website.
