Bulk yardage refers to the bulk production of items such as fabric, lace, ribbon, tapes, etc. Bulk production is simply the "actual" production or final production.  If a buyer asks, "is this swatch from bulk yardage?", they want to know if the fabric is from the actual production of their order.  In other words, they want to know if they are viewing sample yardage or actual bulk production yardage.

Bulk yardage goes thru all the proper finishing processes and inspection processes.  Bulk yardage represents the actual production of the final product.
